In order to showcase YouTube’s momentous impact on pop culture over the last decade, we wanted to develop a fun interactive experience that encouraged users to test their knowledge of the most memorable moments in online video. Our talented creative team built and designed “Do You Know YouTube From A-Z”, an awesome trivia game that celebrates YouTube’s 10 year anniversary.
We hand-picked 26 unforgettable YouTube videos from the last 10 years, corresponding to each letter of the alphabet. Each video and letter represented a unique facet of the video platform we know and love. We designed entertaining questions to match each video, and charmed users with quirky graphics. In order to make the game feel even more interactive, we enabled users to drag and drop graphics as part of the answering process. To facilitate competition and conversation, our team created trophies to be earned at various levels of the game and encouraged users to share them on their social media platforms as they boast about their YouTube trivia skills.
The result was amazing and garnered enthusiastic response from top content creators and viral video enthusiasts worldwide. To date, users raked up over 207,000 trophies, completing over 34,000 games. The site was a great success, receiving 1,500,000+ page views with an average visit duration of 10 minutes! Happy Birthday YouTube!
